A safety switch is a device that quickly switches off the electricity if an electrical fault is detected.
If an electric fault is detected, a safety switch turns off the electric flow. It is a device that minimises the risk of injuries and deaths due to contact with electricity. This device is also known as an RCD (Residual Current Device). It detects the moment a circuit is leaking and stops the flow of electricity in a fraction of a second.
